8:00 a.m.−4:00 p.m. − 2015 to 2020 MN Plumbing Code Changes

Join our instructor as he guides you through the significant code changes for the 2020 Minnesota Plumbing Code. Participants will review the changes and see how they apply to plumbing installations and inspections. The instructor will also guide you through Chapter 6 with how-to instruction on properly sizing water systems and their components.

8:00–11:45 a.m. − Questions and Answers: An Open Forum Regarding the MN Plumbing Code

Attendees will have the opportunity to ask MN Plumbing Code questions to a five-person panel. The goal of the presentation is to engage participants by creating a discussion on a wide variety of Plumbing Code topics.

12:30–4:00 p.m. − Ins and Outs of Plumbing Plan Review

Brad Williams, Thomas Eisert, Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry

The presentation will go over Department of Labor and Industry Requirements, when plan review is required, who performs the review, and DLI submittal requirements. An example plan review will be completed from start to finish, and will finish with common plan review issues and Plumbing Code errors typically seen on plan submittals.
