About This Course
Portfolios offer a way for you to reflect upon crucial components of your counselor training experience and how diverse activities and insights have contributed to your professional development.
You will work on your portfolio throughout the IBH program. It will be used periodically as a tool for reflection, evaluation, and feedback.
Permission to register for IBH 6002 is dependent on submission of the portfolio.

Instructor

Debra is a resident faculty member and Director of Graduate Studies of the Master of Professional Studies in Integrated Behavioral Health and the Master of Professional Studies in Addictions Counseling programs. She has developed integrated mental health and substance abuse curriculum and academic programming, as well as provided counselor training. Debra has over 35 years of experience as a clinician and manager in the addictions field where she delivered substance abuse clinical care for a range of clients. She has worked with adolescents and adults facing substance abuse and co-occurring mental health concerns through a variety of stages, including prevention, primary care, and continuing care. She completed her Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor training at the University of Minnesota and earned her master’s from St. Mary’s University.
