Join us at the inaugural event of the new CCAPS series that brings together the people and ideas from the College’s nine interdisciplinary and professional healthcare-related programs. After a keynote address, CCAPS Dean Radhika Seshan will moderate a panel whose members will discuss how these emerging needs influence their daily work and share the innovative solutions they're using to meet these challenges head-on.

Keynote Speaker: Thomas Harris, Jr., FACHE, Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer, Gillette Children's Hospitals and Clinics, will provide an overview of emerging healthcare needs as he sees them—from fast-moving technology and AI, to opportunities in workforce recruitment, employee health and wellbeing, and innovative models helping to connect care and reduce costs across the healthcare sector.

Panel:

  • Brooke Cunningham, Commissioner, Minnesota Department of Health
  • Mary DaSilva (HSM '22), Interpreter Services Manager, Hennepin Healthcare
  • Tom Hegblom, (ICP '10), Lecturer, Integrated Behavioral Health and Addictions Counseling Programs, CCAPS
  • Sameer Siraj, Senior Vice President, Norstella
