Frances Homans has been head of the Department of Applied Economics and Agricultural Education, Communication and Marketing since 2013. Her research interests are in natural resource economics, specifically in fisheries and in the management of invasive species. She currently serves as one of two faculty athletics representatives for the University of Minnesota and enjoys cheering on the Gophers.
