In October 2017 the University of Northwestern decided to launch its first Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) for spring 2018. Hear how we worked with a subject matter expert, a variety of stakeholders, and each other as we developed a MOOC in three months. 1. Identify roadblocks in a MOOC development. 2. Describe the strategies that Northwestern staff used to quickly develop a MOOC. 3. Analyze Northwestern's MOOC experience.
