About This Course

This course provides information facility managers will need to assess the condition and quality of the building site, the exterior and interior of the facility, and the building equipment. The course also focuses on evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of the facilities operations and maintenance program. Students will learn what to look for during building audits, how to write professional assessment reports, and how to make useful recommendations for improvements. The value and purpose of new building commissioning and existing building recommissioning will also be explored.
