Dawn Bentley: Hi, I'm Dawn Bentley, executive director for Minnesota Fringe. I'm also the instructor for Financial Management for Arts Nonprofits, Community Organizations, and Artists.

Smart financial management is at the core of any organization's lasting success, and right now we need people who can help arts and cultural organizations thrive while continuing to serve their communities.

In this course, I'll introduce you to the concepts and applications of financial management and leadership practices. We'll examine financial statements, budgeting, and reporting, and relate them all to operational strategies.

My course is designed for individuals already working in an arts nonprofit, considering a career in the arts, or those who are just interested in learning more about nonprofit financial management principles.

So if you're interested in leading your nonprofit responsibly into the future, consider taking Financial Management for Arts Nonprofits, Community Organizations, and Artists. You don't have to be enrolled in a U of M degree program to participate. Just contact Margo Gray for more information or to register.
