Completing an internship can be one of the most enlightening college experiences. It’s an opportunity to be exposed to career possibilities, get an inside look at the day-to-day operations of a company, meet new people, and learn the skills needed to be successful in that industry. Internships can help you apply your classroom learning to real world situations— and some lead to full-time job offers after graduation.
Construction Management Internships
These are intended for construction management students who have some advanced skills and knowledge and have completed many of the core courses in the major, particularly estimating, planning and scheduling, and documents and contracts.
If you already have a job, you don't have to find a new one. You can work with your present employer to explore an area of the company you haven’t yet fully experienced and develop a project with your supervisor and faculty advisor.
There are many routes to finding an internship that will help you test your skills and knowledge, while also learning about yourself and what type of work you'd be happy doing.
