CCAPS Inclusive Excellence
CCAPS is committed to creating a welcoming, inclusive environment in every work and learning space—on campus, online, and in the community. This commitment requires us to:
- Build trust with students, faculty and instructors, staff, and partners
- Remove barriers and create pathways to lifelong learning
- Weave inclusive practices in our work
Inclusive Excellence
Inclusive Excellence is a framework for making excellence inclusive by creating sustainable, systemic and accountable growth and change by:
- Recognizing that the progress and success of an institution depends upon the acknowledgement and value placed on all the members of its community.
- Carefully and consistently integrating inclusivity into the missions, values and strategic goals across all areas of the institution.
- Providing a framework which encourages developing best practices and policies for institutional excellence across five key dimensions: access and success, climate and connection, community engagement, education and scholarship, and infrastructure and investment.
