Welcome! On this page, you'll find all the information you'll need to navigate a successful transfer to the College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS) at the University of Minnesota.
You are considered a transfer student if you are:
- Transferring from a college outside the University of Minnesota
- Transferring from another University of Minnesota campus (Crookston, Duluth, Morris, or Rochester)
- Transferring from within the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus
- Transferring from a university outside of the United States
If you are a high school student or recent high school graduate with college credit, you are considered a First-Year Student, not a transfer student. Talk to one of our enrollment advisors for more information.
Get to Know Us!
Join us on the next Transfer Visit Day, where you'll learn about transferring credits, the application and admission process, what attending a Big Ten campus is like, and the different programs available through CCAPS.
Take the First Step
If you're considering transferring to CCAPS, your first step should be to get in touch with our enrollment advisor. Find the program area you're interested in below, and reach out to Jeff to get started.
Not sure which program is right for you? That's okay! You can still contact an enrollment advisor to help you explore the degree options that can meet your goals.

Application Deadlines

During your meeting, you can talk about the admission requirements of the program you're interested in and how to submit a complete application.
