About This Course

This course provides information that facility managers will need to manage the ongoing operation and maintenance of building systems, as well as about the Facility Management Department. It is about understanding the operation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, critical spaces, fire/life safety systems, and utilities. Students will learn about different maintenance practices for specific external and interior building components as well as the technology and resources used to support the business of facility management.

His leadership experiences have included facility and construction management roles for various government agencies and private industry. Currently, Eric serves as the construction operations manager for the Minnesota Department of Administration, Real Estate and Construction Services.
