These courses are open to anyone and may be of interest to people looking to improve their communication skills for a professional setting. Pronunciation

Pronunciation (ESL 3551/0951) is designed for high-intermediate and advanced students who want to improve their pronunciation. Course content and activities center around improving the production and perception of the sounds of the English language: individual sounds, rhythm, intonation, word and sentence stress, and linking phenomena in fast speech. 4 credits.

Pronunciation Improvement

Pronunciation Improvement (ESL 3550/0950) is a shorter version of Pronunciation (ESL 3551/0951). The seven-week course is designed for high-intermediate and advanced students and covers the areas that most students benefit from working on. The goal is to improve production and perception of the sounds of the English Language: individual sounds, rhythm, intonation, word and sentence stress, and linking phenomena in fast speech.
