Abigail Rombalski, PhD, is a community-engaged researcher in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities. She is an affiliate faculty member with RIDGS, including with the Ethnic Studies Initiative, and with UROC, where she cofounded the YoUthROC YPAR research program in 2018. She earned a PhD in Curriculum and Instruction from the UMN and an MA in multicultural education and service-learning from Goddard College in Vermont. She has been a public school educator for almost 30 years (15 years as an ELA teacher) and values long-lasting school and community partnerships, with young people at the center, as a core strategy to impact transformational change.
