“The currency of project management is measured in the strength of relationships. Project managers are unique in that they work cross-functionally. Therefore, foundational to their success as a leader is their ability to drive change through influence without authority. Put your people first and you will find your team is even greater than the sum of its parts.”

Drew Chambers is a program manager in the medical device industry with over a decade of experience in technical leadership and project management. As a part of his role, he collaborates with Program Excellence leaders to develop and deliver the curriculum for his company’s Global Project Management System, and to pilot and release tools to enable project managers and their teams.

Drew is a lifelong learner. He holds bachelor’s degrees in chemical engineering and chemistry from the University of Minnesota, and a master’s in biomedical engineering from Case Western Reserve University. He is also certified in Project Management through the Cornell University College of Engineering.

Drew teaches Project Planning, and Project Execution, Monitoring, and Control for the University of Minnesota College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
