Jack Tift is a Lean leader at Mortenson, where he partners with project teams to improve planning, drive continuous improvement, and strengthen team performance across complex construction projects. He applies Lean principles to real-world settings, helping teams reduce waste, improve reliability and create safer, more efficient job sites. Jack has a Lean Six Sigma Certification from Villanova University. His teaching approach centers on making planning tangible and actionable, equipping students with tools they can immediately apply in their careers and teaching them to value both performance and people. Outside of work, Jack enjoys spending time with his family, playing hockey and doing home improvement projects.
