R. John is vice president of addiction services at Sagent. He holds a Doctorate in Counseling Psychology from the University of Houston and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Minnesota. He is board-certified by the American Board of Professional Psychology in Counseling Psychology. He has held roles as systems director of addictions services at Allina Health and clinical director of operations at North Memorial Health. He also served as a licensed psychologist at HealthEast Care System and Bay Pines VA Hospital and is a Certified National Trainer in Prolonged Exposure for PTSD. He is on the board of governors-region 11 and co-chairs the public policy committee for the Minnesota Associates of Resources and Chemical Health and previously sat on Governor Waltz’s Opioid Advisory Board.
