Josh Schreiner is the Chief Product Officer at HealthEZ, an independent third-party administrator (TPA) specializing in employer-sponsored, self-funded and level-funded medical plans. In this role, he leads the development and management of HealthEZ’s product offerings, with a focus on delivering cost-effective healthcare solutions and enhancing the member experience.
Josh has been instrumental in launching innovative programs such as HealthEZ’s proprietary pharmacy solution, EZrx, and Medical Infusion Carve Out (MICO). These initiatives offer significant savings for both level-funded and self-funded health plans, helping employers better manage rising healthcare costs.
Before joining HealthEZ, Josh worked in revenue cycle management for large hospital and health systems. This experience sparked his passion for identifying inefficiencies—and at times, the “games”—within the American healthcare system. It also laid the foundation for his commitment to building smarter, more transparent solutions for employers.
Josh holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services Management and Political Science from the University of Minnesota. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Stephanie, and their three children. In the fall, you’ll find him cheering on the Green Bay Packers every Sunday.
