Mr. Wenck is the founder and CEO of Ironmark Building Company, a commercial construction firm serving the Twin Cities, Denver and Arizona markets, where he sets the strategic direction, leads long-term planning and business development, develops company leaders and provides executive oversight from preconstruction and design through project completion. He works closely with owners, architects, engineers and project teams to align scope, budget, schedule, constructability, quality and client expectations. Previously, he served as a vice president with an ENR Top 100 firm in the Twin Cities. He began his career in Monterey, California, with a mid-sized general contractor constructing light commercial, apartment and condominium projects. His experience includes commercial, office, retail, multifamily housing and hospitality projects using steel, post-tensioned and precast concrete and wood-frame structural systems in buildings up to 12 stories. His teaching emphasizes preparation, collaboration, clear communication, ethical judgment, accountability and the practical tradeoffs among cost, schedule, quality, safety and risk.
