With 59% of enterprise leaders reporting significant AI skills gaps, we designed this certificate to help people build on the expertise they already have and gain the confidence to improve the processes they know best.”
Learn by solving workplace challenges

The certificate follows a hands-on progression that mirrors the way professionals tackle problems on the job.
"The most successful projects come from problems learners already know well,” says Bryce Kayanuma, program lead and instructor for the program. “They understand the process, they understand the people involved and they understand what's getting in the way. AI becomes a thinking partner that helps them turn that understanding into something that actually runs."
Participants begin by examining their own workflows and identifying tasks that can be automated responsibly. They learn how to write effective prompts and build simple automations while troubleshooting problems as they arise. From there, they move into designing more sophisticated applications, connecting data across systems and creating secure workflows that support day-to-day operations.
Along the way, learners develop skills that extend beyond using AI. They learn how to define project requirements, evaluate AI-generated solutions and determine when human judgment is essential. Data privacy, security and responsible AI practices are integrated throughout the curriculum. Participants also learn how to run AI models locally, giving them another way to work with sensitive data without sending it to an external AI service.
