A Rewarding Career Awaits

  • fulfills the Minnesota Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (MNLADC) education requirements.
  • fulfills the Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) education requirements

"When I heard about the IBH program and looked into it further, it just felt right.... I could see how the dual licensure would both benefit clients and make me marketable as an employee.”
— Sara Njam, IBH student

Enter a Healthy Job Market

22%

Predicted job growth between 2018-28*

The job growth for counselors is well above the average of 5% rate for all other professions. Those with a master’s degree will have even more opportunities because they have the required training and internship hours to offer more services and require less supervision.

The job market is expected to be particularly good in rural areas or other communities that are underserved by mental health practitioners.
