About This Course
The focus of this course is financial literacy and financial well-being. This course will provide a personal financial foundation from your first day on the job through retirement. Basic financial information will help you decide how to participate in employee benefits tailored to your goals. You will explore your risk tolerance and creditworthiness. You will complete a personal budgeting and retirement plan using the tools and resources provided.

Ms. Kessler has served as assistant provost at Hamline University. Prior to that, she was a faculty member and associate dean of the College of Business and Organizational Leadership at Concordia University. She has led programs and operations in corporate and academic environments in the areas of finance, human resources and long-range planning and project management. She is currently working on a DBA in human resources.
