Michelle Hutchison

Michelle Hutchison is a veteran of film, television, and the stage. Her accomplished career as an actress, writer, and producer has lent unique insight to her position as a trainer, consultant, and coach for corporations. She has designed workshops on presentation skills, authentic communication, executive speaking, team-building, and effective collaboration for groups and individuals. Her ability to discern key issues and find accessible solutions has made her an industry favorite and return guest.

As an educator, Michelle has led corporate workshops for Medtronic, General Mills, Mayo Clinic, Minnesota Medical Association, Inspire Medical Systems, University of Minnesota Medical School, Humera Staffing, Dolphin Group, Minnesota Association of Professional Employees, Augsburg College, and Concordia University. She is a resident Teaching Artist for the Guthrie Theater and Hennepin Theatre Trust.

Michelle continues to thrive as a professional actress and can be seen in iconic films such as Fargo, My Best Friend’s Wedding, Thin Ice, FactotumInto Temptation, and The Public Domain; television shows include ABC’s In an Instant and Netflix’s Lady Dynamite. She has appeared in numerous corporate events as an emcee and performer in international conventions, meetings, roasts, award ceremonies, and parties. Michelle’s work as a writer and producer includes the nationally syndicated Travel Channel show Passport to Design and eight original feature film shorts. Her latest film, Time’s Up for the 48 Hour Film Project, garnered her a nomination for best writing.

Michelle teaches Presenting with Impact for the University of Minnesota College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
