Darnell K. Adrian Williams Jr. is an MD-PhD candidate in the Medical Scientist Training Program at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. His doctoral research uses EEG and computational methods to examine how prior expectations shape the timing and neural dynamics of visual perception in autism. His broader work spans clinical AI, multimodal physiological data, digital health and AI-assisted decision support, with research experience at Harvard Medical School, Weill Cornell Medicine, Regeneron Pharmaceuticals and Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Adrian is also the founder and principal of Afferent Health, an independent scientific and clinical research-and-development intelligence firm focused on translating complex clinical data and emerging AI/ML into evidence-backed healthcare research and decision-support strategies. He has taught at Iona University and the University of Minnesota, bringing an interdisciplinary perspective that connects technology, healthcare, ethics and real-world implementation.
