Akin Ajao is a project management and business transformation professional with close to two decades of experience delivering technology, business, and strategic initiatives across finance and consulting industries. He is a Big 4-trained transformation consultant with experience working across North American financial services and corporate institutions. He has delivered several multi-million dollar projects working with some of the leading enterprise solutions and technology platforms across corporate, digital/omni-channel, finance functions, and capital markets.
Akin has led and worked on large transformation initiatives and target operating model rollouts with multiple technology and business stakeholders and delivery partners including DevOps, UI/UX designers, Solution Architects, QA and change management professionals. He leverages waterfall, agile, and hybrid project delivery methodologies in the course of his work.
Akin graduated with bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Oxford Brookes University and The University of Manchester. He holds Project Management Professional®, ICP-ACC Certified Agile Coach, SAFe 6.0 SAFe Practice Consultant, SAFe 5.0® Agilist, Professional Scrum Master I and Certified Scrum Product Owner® certifications. He is a career mentor with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Toronto and Lakeshore chapters.
Akin teaches Project Initiation for the University of Minnesota College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
