Attorney, educator, and performance expert Chris Carlson empowers professionals to become clearer, more compelling communicators in their work and beyond.
Chris is a practicing attorney and adjunct instructor. He created and has led the Relational Experience Development (RED) seminars for the University of Minnesota’s Center for Immunology and Masonic Cancer Center for nearly a decade, helping medical professionals communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively. He designs communication workshops for law firms and global corporations, partnering with theaters like the Guthrie and Mixed Blood to bring creative techniques to professional settings.
With over 200 credits as a professional actor on stage, screen, and in voiceover work, Chris brings performance expertise to his teaching. He collaborates with Writing Consultants to deliver communication training for business and higher education. He previously taught public speaking for lawyers at Hamline School of Law (now Mitchell Hamline).
Chris teaches Foundations in Business Writing, Technical Writing, and Writing Policies & Procedures for CCAPS.
