With a career spanning nonprofit, private, and Fortune 500 organizations, Erin Faella brings a breadth of HR experience to the classroom. Through an HR rotational program, she has gained experience in HR partnership, compensation, employee relations, recruitment, and DEI. She has led impactful projects, including integrating AI into performance management and advancing gender inclusiveness in HRIS platforms. She is SHRM-CP certified and brings a business-first mindset to HR, with a strong belief in aligning talent strategies with organizational goals.
Erin holds a bachelor of business administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a master of human resources from the University of Minnesota. Having completed her degree program while working in HR, she understands the challenges of balancing coursework with a career—and brings that perspective into the classroom by helping students apply concepts directly to their day-to-day work.
Outside of work, Erin is an active member of the Greater Madison Area SHRM and volunteers on the Workforce Development Committee. She also mentors early-career professionals, serves as a career coach at her organization, and enjoys running, biking, and watercolor painting in her free time.
