Janet Ivanca has a bachelor’s degree in linguistics and Russian and a master's degree in teaching English as a second language. She has taught English in a variety of contexts in the US, Russia, and Kazakhstan. In addition to teaching at MELP, Janet works at a nonprofit organization where she manages the curriculum for a digital literacy program for adult learners. In her free time, Janet enjoys playing badminton and tennis, reading, and cooking.
