Lori Crever is the director of strategic partnerships at the Center for Mentoring Excellence and author of the book Protégé Power: A Roadmap for Mentorship. Prior, she worked for two decades managing communications, PR and sponsorships, global philanthropy, and employee engagement programs for the Wells Fargo International Group. She constructed and led the most celebrated and replicated career mentor program across the enterprise. Eighty-eight percent of program graduates reported a notable upsurge in job responsibilities, operational sphere, and/or pay—which they attributed to having the right mentor and skillful program guidance. Lori shepherded Wells Fargo into authoring its first-ever human rights statement and participation in the global poverty eradication movement of microlending, placing staff volunteers in China, India, and Colombia.

Lori is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Twin Cities College of Liberal Arts. She started her career working in live television, followed by a half-dozen years in New York City working in music and theater. She is a founding member of Jesters Comedy Improv, a published poet, and a veteran on-stage performer. In 2024, Lori earned a Global Leadership Diploma from the United Nations University for Peace (Universidad para la Paz) in San José, Costa Rica—an international institution organized to educate and inspire leaders toward equality, conflict resolution, and global happiness.

Lori teaches the Mentorship course for the College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
