Mary Ellen Rutemeyer

Mary Ellen Rutemeyer is a lecturer of German in the Department of German, Nordic, Slavic & Dutch. She teaches primarily beginning and intermediate German courses. Before coming to the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, she taught German at Michigan State University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, German School of Madison, Ohio State University, and in the Upward Bound program. Her research and professional interests include connections between languages and identities, multilingual pedagogies, and language program administration.
