Course Dates and Times


This course runs Wednesday, September 3 to Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

You will meet in person one day a week, 5–8 p.m. (5–6 networking, 6–8 class). You will have readings and assignments between in-person meetings. There will also be opportunities to check in via Zoom.

In-person meetings: September 3, 10, 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22.

Course Format


This eight-week course blends elements of asynchronous and synchronous components. In-person class time will provide guided group facilitation to process ideas and gain feedback from the instructor and others in the course. Outside of class, participants will complete readings, videos, and reflection exercises on topics related to the course content.

Each week participants will:

  • Attend one facilitated group discussion session (120 minutes, with 60-minute network meeting beforehand), during which participants will apply what they have leaned to their own situation.
  • Complete two hours of independent reading or assignments.

The course includes a total of 30 hours of engagement over the eight weeks and offers 3.0 CEUs from the University of Minnesota College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
