About This Course

Conceptual understanding of functions of building mechanical/electrical systems and their integration with other building components through theory and case studies. Residential and commercial HVAC components and systems, alternative energy sources, energy efficiency, structural implications of mechanical systems, indoor air quality, and environmental control strategies. Residential and commercial mechanical and energy codes, and energy conservation and sustainability standards.
