Dr. Maples has extensive experience teaching undergraduate students and conducting research on college experiences that increase flourishing for college students. She has experience as a career counselor, and as a therapist she continues to work with young adults, focusing primarily on healing trauma and finding ways to thrive (including referrals to professional resources and career development). As an instructor in ABUS 3051, Alyssa enjoys assisting students to develop the skills and confidence that they can take forward into their professional lives.
