Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education

A native of Illinois, Michelle Koker came to Minnesota to attend college and never left. In 1998, she joined the College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS), taking leadership of the Post-Secondary Enrollment Options Program, which serves academically gifted high school students. Since that time, Michelle has held a number of positions at the college, working mainly with undergraduate programming but also with international students, evening classes and summer session planning, and advising and student support services. Her current role as the Associate Dean for Undergraduate Education allows her to provide students with exceptional educational and co-curricular opportunities, preparing them to be leaders in their chosen fields. Her academic background is in Educational Psychology, having completed both of her graduate degrees through the University of Minnesota's Counseling and Student Personnel Psychology program.

Prior to joining CCAPS, Michelle worked in student support and administrative roles in a variety of offices around campus, including the College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, the College of Education and Human Development, and the Office of Admissions.
