Patricia Francisco has conducted workshops in business writing throughout the country as a consultant with Writing Consultants, Inc. for more than 30 years. She taught creative writing as a member of the core faculty of The Creative Writing Programs at Hamline University for 25 years.
Patricia grew up in Detroit and was graduated from The University of Michigan with a degree in journalism. After moving to Minnesota, she worked as a freelance writer and as associate editor for Minnesota Monthly magazine. Patricia is the author of three books—Cold Feet (Simon & Schuster), Village Without Mirrors (Milkweed Editions), and Telling (HarperCollins). Her writing has been supported by The Bush Foundation, The National Endowment for the Arts, the Minnesota State Arts Board, and The Loft Literary Center.
Patricia teaches Foundations in Business Writing, Business Grammar Update, Advanced Editing and Proofreading Strategies, and Writing Business Reports and Proposals for the University of Minnesota College of Continuing and Professional Studies.
