Text on screen: The College of Continuing and Professional Studies (CCAPS) is committed to providing learners of all ages and backgrounds access to a great education.

Private giving helps to support our mission through scholarships and program funds.

We have three philanthropic goals:
Provide scholarships to minimize student debt
Recruit high potential and diverse students in competitive fields
Attract and support expert instructors

Almost half of CCAPS students are the first in their families to go to college. They have big dreams, but many face financial challenges. Scholarships help to ease that financial burden.

Many organizations look to the U of M to hire talent, and CCAPS competes with other universities to recruit these bright individuals. Scholarships for students who are at least halfway through their degree can make all the difference.

CCAPS courses are taught by industry experts and thought leaders. The college endeavors to use funds to attract and support instructors that reflect the changing diversity of its learners.

Our aim is to raise $300,000 total to support these important philanthropic goals.
