The Scrum Alliance® announced in March that they will allow certification on virtual classes during this pandemic period, including the Certified ScrumMaster® and Certified Scrum Product Owner®. Follow the Register link for course dates.
Scrum is the leading Agile product development framework. It provides a foundation and path to delivering business goals in a collaborative, sane, and enjoyable manner. This intensive two-day course, taught by a Certified Scrum Trainer®, will prepare you to be a Certified Scrum Product Owner® (CSPO®). After completing the course, you will earn the CSPO credential with the Scrum Alliance®. This includes a two-year membership in the Scrum Alliance, an organization that provides valuable materials and resources exclusively to CSPOs.
In this course, you will learn the Scrum framework. But more importantly, you'll learn what it means to function as the Product Owner, or Customer, for a Scrum team. You will learn about managing stakeholders, creation and refinement of the Product Backlog, emerging detail with Product Backlog Items and User Stories, including Acceptance Criteria, and the Definition of Done.
Course content is delivered through exercises, in-depth discussion, and case studies to help illustrate techniques, practices, and principles.
