Have a degree? Work in long term care? Interested in obtaining a Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in Wisconsin? You've come to the right place! At the University of Minnesota, we train not only physicians, but the entire spectrum of health care professionals, including administrators in long-term care.

Designed for Care Providers in Wisconsin

Offered by the University of Minnesota Twin Cities and accredited by the State of Wisconsin, this online certificate features specialized courses that will help you earn your NHA license.

Through the Long Term Care (LTC) Management Certificate program, you will:

  • Complete courses entirely online
  • Qualify for in-state tuition by enrolling in the LTC Management Certificate
  • Participate with peers and colleagues who share similar goals
  • Engage with faculty who are experts in the field of LTC

Certificate vs License

The LTC Management Certificate is a degree awarded by the UMN for students that have successfully completed at least 12 credits worth of courses in the LTC program. The completion of the certificate requirements does not award any state license. Students interested in licensure need to complete all requirements outlined by the state licensing board to qualify for a license.
