Elleni, Applied Sciences Leadership
I plan to use my master’s degree to build sustainable food systems throughout the supply chain, making food systems that are more sustainable environmentally, economically, and culturally. I specifically hope to bridge the knowledge gap between those producing our food and those consuming our food, making sure we can all work together to create practices and policies that contribute to those sustainable food systems that we all know we need to work for.
Morgan, Health Services Management
Through the HSM program, I really realized that I wanted to use that degree in order to help people, in order to better patient care, better patient safety, and really change the way that healthcare is delivered. And through this program, and through all of the knowledge that I’ve gained through my HSM courses, I’m going to be able to apply the skills and tools that I have learned to my future career as a health services leader in healthcare organizations around our community. I truly thank you; I thank all the donors for their contributions to this scholarship program. Thank you.

This scholarship means so much to me because it will enable me to complete my bachelor’s degree and enter into a career that will allow me to help others to improve the quality of their lives. I’d like to take this time to thank all of the generous donors for what you’ve done for people like myself, who would otherwise have a difficult time affording the cost of a quality college education. Again, I thank you and I look forward to completing the task.

I’ve been interested in the counseling field since I was in eighth grade. Your financial support will help me to achieve my lifelong dream of becoming a licensed mental health and substance-abuse counselor. And furthermore, this scholarship will support my education and that will lighten my financial burden and enable me to focus more on my academics in order to become a qualified counselor. So, thank you so much again for your generosity. I really appreciate it.

Thank you so much for selecting me to be amongst the recipients of this award, and I really hope to make each and every one of you guys proud and well and truly make a positive, lasting impact in the world of IT, and really use all the skills that I learned at the University of Minnesota and combined with skills that I’ve picked up at my internship and other skills that I’ve picked up here-and-there, and really show that I made the most of the opportunities that came my way.
