In this course, you will build a solid base of knowledge in project management principles.

You’ll learn what a project is, how to manage a project, and the role of a project manager. On the way, you’ll learn tactics and frameworks you can use to improve your project management skills. This includes learning about different types of projects, the stages of a project, and what interpersonal skills are expected of a good project manager.

This course also provides a framework for anyone who lacks formal training in project management, but finds themselves involved in a project as a sponsor, manager, or team member.

Course Outcomes

At the end of this course, you’ll be able to:

  • comprehend the multiple dimensions of project management.
  • outline the role of a project manager.
  • understand different types of organizations and how they affect project management.
